Regenerative Agriculture
Beyond organic farming

Regenerative Agriculture

Organic farming is about what we leave out. Regenerative agriculture is about what we put back in. It is an integrated, active approach to farming where the goal is not simply to do no harm, but to leave the soil, the land and the ecosystem measurably better after every harvest than they were before it.

It means respect — for nature, for animals, and for all humans in our value chain, from our employees to our clients and suppliers to our neighbors. We are honoured to be farming our land and consider ourselves custodians, responsible for continually improving its health, not just preserving it.

“Organic farming avoids what harms. Regenerative agriculture actively rebuilds what has been lost.”

Agroforestry
Trees & Vines

Agroforestry

Oaks, olives and hedgerows growing alongside the vines create shade, shelter and root diversity — a working landscape, not a monoculture.

Biodiversity
Ecosystem

Biodiversity

Cover crops, hedgerows and the olive grove support insects, birds and soil life alongside the vines, not apart from them.

Dry farming
Water

Dry farming

Deep, well-established root systems let our old vines thrive without irrigation, even in drought years, while grass cover helps the land absorb and retain rainfall.

Ecosystem design
Design

Ecosystem design

Every intervention, from the buildings to the beds we plant, is designed to work with the land’s existing ecosystem rather than against it.

No chemicals. Ever.
Farming

No chemicals. Ever.

No synthetic pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers — full stop. We rely on natural methods for pest control and soil health, onsite and by hand.

Pomace compost
Circularity

Pomace compost

The skins and seeds left over from winemaking are composted and returned to the vineyard, closing the loop between cellar and soil.

Solar power
Energy

Solar power

Solar panels on the estate’s working buildings generate clean energy onsite, reducing our reliance on the grid.

Undervine management
Soil

Undervine management

Vegetation under the vine row is mowed and managed mechanically rather than sprayed, keeping the soil alive right up to the trunk.
